Upcoming: Traffic Jam Edition

Filed under: by: Grundy the Man

Yesterday's post of the leaked Gears of War 2 footage brought the site to its knees. How bad was it, you ask? Bad enough that the image host for the site managed to serve up our full months worth of bandwidth in a matter of six hours. That is why things seemed to be looking a little bit on the odd side over the last twenty four hours or so. But do not worry, after calling in a few favors and kissing a few asses, we are back up and in full production, once again.

If you are a new comer to the site, welcome. If you are a frequent viewer, thanks for being patient as we were once again experiencing some growing pains. But after all, a little change never hurt anybody!

Along with the introduction of a new image hosting service for the site, we will also be debuting a new weekly segment from contributor PriestBeast, entitled "Random Thoughts From the Gameless Gamer." While patiently waiting for his opportunity to buy an Xbox 360, PriestBeast has been forced to live the life of a non-gamer. Hearing the cry of his inner gamer screaming out, he will bring to us a manic collection of his thoughts, leading up to his eventually console purchase. This slow decent into the bowels of insanity will be fun to see...

This week you can also expect to see more of the same, as the featured review will be Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox 360, along with first impressions of both SNK Arcade Classics: Volume One and Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection for the Wii. As always, you can look forward to a "What I Hate About..." article from Jimmy the Greek, a "Damnit Game of the Week," and other surprise contributions from the rest of the team.

Thanks for the continued support and have an awesome week!
