Saints Row 2 has yet to have been released, but already looks to be stirring up controversy. A gameplay video that leaked yesterday, shows a fully nude female, attempting to complete some kind of a streaking mission. Check out the clip for yourself, but be warned, it is NSFW.
If this is a ploy to sell more copies of their game, and I have a sad feeling that it just may work. Makes me wonder if this was brought to the ESA's attention when the game was being rated. Start the countdown until the first Jack Thompson comment now.

Ploy or not people will buy this game. Even tho it's not even close to being as good as GTA, R* need some competition GTAIV was a serioud disappointment (would have been better if it was a PS3 exclusive) but hey at least they'll make the next one better!! And where is her booty in the trailer......... whts up wit dat??

I dont think this will even come close to GTA 4 .. The graphics look horrible and psyuchics something out of a lazy programmed PS1 game.

For one thing while they GTA4 and Saints Row 2 are both open world games they couldnt be more different.
GTA4 is a more realistic almost crime drama feel with some cheeky humor thrown in.Saints Row 2 is a balls to the wall anything goes kinda game.Graphics are much better in GTA4 but saints row has many more options.It really comes down to what kinda game you like i myself am in the GTA4 camp but to compare these games like they are similiar is stupid.

My point: PS3 uses Blu-Ray! a 30 gb disc or a 50 gb disc holds MUCH MORE than a 6 or 7 gb DVD. No shit, you say? What are you getting at?
With more room on the disc comes more opportunity to pack in extras. GTA 4, while having an extremely fun campaign, was sorely lacking in pretty much every other department. Where are the Paramedic missions? Firetruck missions? Rampages?
What about the random hit missions from the payphones located around the city?
Once the campaign was over, I have barely touched the game. Graphics are good, voice-acting is phenomenal(in relation to other games, I mean), physics are ok, and again, campaign was fun.
Saints Row was like that too, the campaign ended and I was bored stiff with it. Saints Row 2 might suck, even. But that's not my point.
I'll sum it up: With Blu-Ray you can fit more stuff on a disc than with DVD. This means more extras per game. If GTA4 wasn't on X-Box, Rockstar most likely would have included extra stuff besides what they did.

Er, no. Anon who said you could pack more side-missions in on a Blu-Ray is a dumbass.
Those side missions use models and textures that are already in the game. They would maybe use a few extra voice files. Long story short they could put as much of what you expected in the game and take up no more than, say, an extra 100Mb of space.
Incidentally, that's how they were able to make the main game so long. Same mechanics for every mission and same locations for many of them. And it's for that reason that I got about 50% of the way through GTA4 before getting bored of it.
I think the nudity should have nothing to do with the games rating. Remember the SIMS games? They had nudity but was censored. Just like this. At least it isn't like the game Conan where there isn't any censorship. I think Saints Row 2 is a perfect game except for one thing: In the first Saints Row when you rob a store u dont get any stars if the alarm doesnt go. In the second one, even if u kill the clerk the alarm goes off. So I'm like "what the h*ll? They're dead they cant set the alarm!" So besides that it's perfect. Although i do agree the graphics could be a little better.
